The Memorial Pool on Alphabet Lane in Weston, MA officially opens today – June 16, 2012 – for the summer. Pool hours are 11 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. from June 16 – August 5, and 11 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. from August 6 – August 26. The pool is open to Weston residents, their guests, non-resident badge holders and their guests. All guests must be accompanied by a badge holder. In terms of fees, Recreation Badge holders are free, Weston residents pay a daily fee of $5 (children two and under are free), and guests of badge holders pay a fee of $10 (children two and under are free).

With its large shallow end, watering mushroom, diving board and lap lanes, the pool appeals to kids and adults of all ages.  There is also a water park/activity section, massive sand box, picnic tables, snack bar and loads of chairs to place in either the sun or the shade. The pool offers swim classes and clinics, private lessons and swim teams too. There are many special events throughout the summer, including Tuesday Family Nights, Fourth of July Fun Day, Caribbean Cruise Day, Poolside Carnival and much more….
