Pinnacle Report for Weston, MA Real Estate 5/28/2012 – 6/10/2012

Posted on June 11th, 2012

It’s hard to believe, but it’s that time of the year again – the end of school, which means graduations, pool parties, end-of-year festivities, bug plays (pictured here), final report cards, last lacrosse games, teacher gifts and so much more.  This is an especially crazy time of the year for everyone.  It seems that real estate takes a bit of a back seat during these hectic, exciting weeks, but not for everyone….

And on that note, here’s what’s been happening on the Weston, MA real estate front…. In the last two weeks, eight single family homes came on the market, and five sold.* Our inventory (103) is fairly consistent with my last report (101) but is down from this time last year (129). We are heading into the summer months, and so we expect the market activity to taper off a bit as people turn their attention to end-of-the-year celebrations, vacations and more relaxed schedules. That being said, our recent numbers have been solid, and we hope that this positive activity continues well into the summer.
