For those of you who love market stats….click here – July-1-15-2011-Solds-in-Weston-MA – to see information on the single-family homes that sold/closed in the first two weeks in July in Weston, MA.  We had eight homes sell in these past two weeks versus seven the year before, and yet our market volume for this time period was less than last year’s number due to last year’s higher average sale price.  Specifically our market volume for these two weeks was $7,840,000 vs. $10,206,277 in 2010. Of note, six of the eight properties sold in less than 50 days.  In fact, the average days on the market of those six properties was only 22.5 days.  This illustrates that if the market perceives that the home “is priced to sell,” it will move quickly.

There weren’t any land sales in these last two weeks.
